Second Post: 5 Hours Up-To-Date

I performed my first five hours of volunteering at the SPCA on Sunday November 7, 2010. I worked at the SPCA from 11:30 to 4:30. For the most part, i played with each cat or group of cats for 15 minutes.

11:30-11:45: socialized the FIV+ cat Joseph.

11:45-12:00: socialized the FIV+ cat Manny.

12:00-12:15: socialized the FIV+ cat Lady Gaga.

12:15-12:30: socialized the FIV+ cat Dooley.

12:30-12:45: cleaned up messes and took a small break.


12:45-1:00: socialized the cats Ryan and Lu.

1:00-1:15: socialized the cats Clio and Morgen.

1:15-1:30: socialized the cats Inky, Rosetta, and Silvermist.

1:30-1:45: socialized the cat Godzilla.

1:45-2:00: socialized the cats Alchymist, Bubba, Samson, and Papaya.

2:00-2:15: took a break and looked at the dogs.


2:15-2:30: socialized the cats Spanky, Alfie, and Darla.

2:30-2:45: socialized the cats Tuck, Citrus, and Olivia.

2:45-3:15: socialized the cats Dan, Marcus, and Pumpkin. It took 15 minutes to try to get them all back in their cubby because they were very mischievous and playful.

3:15-3:30: lunch break.


3:30-3:45: socialized the cats Tiger and Pepper.

3:45-4:00: socialized the cats Steve, Shiloh, and Littlefoot.

4:00-4:15: socialized the cats in one of the gazeboes, mostly Veera.

4:15-4:30: finished taking pictures


That's my first five hours of working at the SPCA this year!
